Dr Laura Chapman joins Board

We are delighted to welcome Dr Laura Chapman to the Well Foundation Board.

Laura is the Chief Medical Officer of Health New Zealand | Waitematā and a Senior Medical Officer in General Medicine, bringing with her an exceptional breadth of clinical and leadership experience.

She has held key positions including Director of Clinical Training (DCT), Clinical Director of ADU, and leadership roles within the University of Auckland’s Medical Programme. Trained in Acute and General Medicine in the UK, Laura has been part of the Waitematā health community since 2012.

Her contributions extend across the sector, from her work with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians on education, accreditation, and supervisor training, to her service on the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal and other boards.

Laura shares our passion for advancing healthcare and is excited to support the Well Foundation’s mission. We are privileged to have her expertise, insight, and dedication on our Board as we continue to deliver impact for patients and families across our hospitals and community.
